The property features four standalone villas inspired by the natural forces — the elements AIR, WATER, EARTH, and AETHER. Each villa is a unique expression of form and character, harmoniously integrated into the surrounding landscape and creating a little paradise of its own in the heart of Bali.

Sustainability is an integral part of our philosophy and guides many of the choices we make every day. Solar panels on our rooftops provide a portion of our energy needs, helping us reduce our environmental footprint and embrace renewable resources.
We work closely with local farmers, producers, and suppliers, sourcing fresh ingredients and many of our products directly from the surrounding area. By doing so, we support the local economy, encourage short supply chains, and help preserve Bali’s traditional markets and agricultural heritage.
As a family-run business, we value respect, diversity, and community. Our team brings together people from different religious and cultural backgrounds, and we proudly celebrate the important traditions and holidays of each faith. This spirit of inclusion and mutual respect is at the heart of who we are.

Ours wasn't carefully planned or written down. It simply appeared, shaped by the beauty, abundance, and unique energy of Bali. We imagined creating a place where thoughtful design, genuine hospitality, and the natural landscape exist in harmony — a place that brings value and inspiration to everyone who visits and everyone who helps bring it to life.

What began as a simple idea soon led us to an extraordinary place in Katiklantang, in the south of Ubud. Hidden among lush greenery, it felt as though the land had been waiting to be discovered.
It was more than we had imagined, yet it felt exactly right. Together with people who shared our vision, that first spark began to grow into something far greater — something we would soon call Four Elements.
Inspired by four forces of nature, we envisioned Four Elements as a place created with passion, purpose, and heart — a sanctuary where guests can slow down, recharge, and set out to explore Bali's treasures.

Before any construction began, we gathered on this sacred land to ask for blessings, protection, and harmony. In Bali, every meaningful journey starts with gratitude — and so did ours.

This humble shrine became the spiritual heart of our journey. Throughout the entire construction process, daily offerings were made here, honouring the land and preserving the balance between nature, people, and spirit.

The land decided many things before we did. Rather than changing it to fit our ideas, we tried to understand its character and build with it.
Designing on a hillside surrounded by nature demanded patience. Every line was drawn, questioned, and redrawn. Over time, sketches became spaces that feel as though they have always belonged here.
Nothing at Four Elements is off the shelf. From the architecture to the handcrafted furniture, every element was designed or chosen specifically for this place, allowing nature to remain part of the experience.
The People Behind the Dream
Places are remembered for how they make us feel, with every person who built them leaving something behind.
Behind every wall and every carefully crafted detail are the hands of those who worked on this project with passion, craftsmanship, and dedication. Their good spirit and resilience carried Four Elements through every challenge, turning an idea into a place that feels warm, welcoming, and alive.
Without them, this place simply would not exist. Their work will continue to welcome every guest who walks through our doors.

Over the course of two years, countless hands and unwavering dedication turned our dream into reality. Along the way, we built far more than beautiful villas — we built friendships, shared unforgettable moments, and created opportunities that continue to make a positive impact on the people around us.
Four Elements is as much a story about the people who built it as the place itself.

Our first blessing ceremony took place in September 2023. It marked the beginning of a tradition that continues every morning.
Small offerings are prepared with care to honour the land and express gratitude. It is a quiet ritual, but one that reminds us every day where we are and what this place stands for.
Over time, Four Elements became more than a construction project. It has become a place of connection, gratitude, and shared purpose. Seeing the pride, joy, and opportunities it has brought to the people around us reminds us that every challenge along the way was worth it.

What began as an idea has become a place where people from around the world come to slow down and experience Bali in a relaxed and authentic way.
Since early 2026, Four Elements Villas has welcomed guests seeking peace, nature, and a genuine connection with the island.
Our story didn't end when the villas were completed. It continues with every sunrise, in the dedication of our team, and in every guest who becomes a part of it.

In-villa dining
Each morning, enjoy a freshly prepared, complimentary à la carte breakfast, served in the privacy of your villa. Our menu brings together carefully chosen local flavours and international favourites, and we are happy to accommodate dietary requirements with advance notice.
For something a little more special, a beautifully styled floating breakfast can be arranged upon request for an additional fee.
For lunch and dinner, we invite you to explore Ubud's vibrant dining scene. You'll find a selection of our favourite restaurants in the villa guide. If you prefer to stay in, food delivery is readily available, and each villa features a fully equipped kitchen should you feel like preparing your own meals. For special occasions, we're happy to arrange a private chef to prepare dinner in your villa.

Novi from Bali is the heart of our team and the driving force behind the daily flow at Four Elements Villas.

Through daily offerings and ceremonies, she helps maintain a sense of balance and harmony in the space.

Element · Water
Tio from Ubud, Bali is the easy flow of our team. He is responsible for housekeeping and maintenance across the villas, gardens, and pools, ensuring everything is well cared for and maintained.
He works with consistency and ease, helping the property run smoothly while keeping each space welcoming and in balance. Always with a smile, he brings a calm and positive presence to the team.
